Gonadotropins

Gonadotropins are injectable hormones, mainly FSH and sometimes LH, that drive the ovaries to grow several follicles during IVF.

In a cycle

They are the main drugs of the stimulation phase, given daily for roughly 8 to 14 days while scans track the response. Doses are tailored to you and adjusted as the cycle goes.
